Growing up as an only child with two working parents, I had big feelings that I couldn't understand. I'd cry when I hear certain music and dance when I hear certain others. Music was my imaginary friend who's always there.

When I first discovered my ability to sing and tell stories, I found my voice in the crowd. With this new voice, I travelled from the small town of Kunming to Shanghai, and then to the great city of Los Angeles, where I studied for two years and continued to work for another four as an apprentice composer.

I've had some success placing music in well-known TV shows and movies. I've learnt a ton of skills in production and songwriting. I wrote science education songs for children to protect pollinators and frogs. I've also worked with vulnerable people to help them tell their stories through songs. At some point, however, I miss writing for my heart's desire to speak. It is after all, how I started my relationship with music.
